Oris Calibre 400...PSA

Hi All

Purchased the Aquis 400..Right off the bat the watch started gaining 1.5 hours per day.. Took it up with the AD and got a replacement.. The new watch ran well for a week and then started gaining 15 seconds per day which was way above tolerance.. Took it up with Oris and they asked to send the watch for checks. Was later informed that the movement is faulty and would require replacement, which would take 6 to 8 weeks... Was a rude shock.. However took up with AD again and have replaced Oris with Longines now.

Oris should have done better to test the new calibre before rolling it out.. Can understand 1 watch cooking off but 2 out of 2 is unacceptable

Wow! that’s disappointing sorry to hear and totally sucks and I love Oris and excited about their new inhouse movements but that sucks 😖😤

Me too.. Was excited about Oris especially with the 400..but total let down.. Still miss it though..

That's what I thought too.. Ran it non stop for a month with daily readings of timing... Oris themselves confirmed that the movement was faulty after checks

I bought the ORIS. Limited edition, source of life. A truly stunning watch. Then my problem began. It was running 25 /40 secs a day fast. I sent it back and they still could not fix it . I waited 3 weeks again and they did not even look at it . So in the end I sent it back and got a refund .  I finally bought a longines Hydroconquest.  Black ceramic .
very pleased with it .  Next watch is a Brietling.

I don’t blame you . They are beautiful looking watches but they are more show than quality . For that kind of money there are better watches out there .
