Watch Setting on 1st January

While the G-SHOCK GMW-B5000 synchronizes to atomic time, all my other watches need to be corrected manually. The green Citizen, however, fascinates me, because it has been a while since I set minutes and seconds on it. I don't actually remember when I set it the last time. It is only the day that needs adjustment every other month. It is the only watch that I didn't have to adjust today because the deviation is too small. Quite a well regulated watch.

I have a few that are multi band, the others I set the time once a month and see how far they out, the mechanicals only set when i wear them.

I set my other quartz watches every other month when I set the date. This Citizen, however, doesn't need that so "often" ... I guess that I set it the last time when switching from summer time to normal time. On the other side I have to set the Casio AE-1200 at least once a month because it is running a bit fast.

I have several multi band 6 Casios. I use them to set my non MB6 Casios. My other Casios are all quartz. I recently tested them all by setting them on No 25 and checking them for deviation on Dec. 25. All but four were under 10 seconds +/-. The most off was an f91w at +17 seconds. I had one Gshock and one Protrek at +11 seconds. Most were single digits close. All were within spec. Got to love that!
