Basically a one-watch-collection right now

This thing just hasent been leaving my wrist for the last few months - it's my most expensive watch by far but it might as well be my only one at this...

Thank you! I was scared initially but I was very happy when I put it on ✌️

haha that's kind of a good analogy. My dream car is actually a Porsche 964 so even there you are not far off - very much my vibe 😂

Thank you 😁

It runs really well actually - about +1min/day which is totally fine for me. But i'd love a new-looking case 😅

Trust me, the AP does not draw any attention whatsoever lol - it's neither a royal oak, nor a rolex, breitling, omega or whatever known brand 😂

Haha well my number one priority for my watch-collecting is to tell awesome stories to my future children and give them something to remember me (and my stories) after I will eventually pass away (in 60+ years hopefully. Which gives me time to give the watches plenty of memmories to witness).

Buying a watch immediately because you like it is not at all wrong though - you do it for yourself. I myself am just in love with the idea kind of creating a sentimental piece for the people I care about.

Wow I have never heard about the possibility of laser-welding! Sounds awesome actually! I'm curious about the cost though 😅🤔

I would only ever let AP touch it - it has an enamel dial so I wouldn't want to risk any cracks because of improper handling.

I don't think I will ever sell it. I've browsed thousands of watches by now and it's just that stunning that it's still within the top 3 (maybe even number one).

Haha I use the AP way too much - every day whenever the weather allows it 🤔 In general I love vintage aesthatic, and the watch has a great size and is too beautiful to not wear 😂

I dont plan on ever selling the watch so resell value is not something I worry about. The model is not super expensive though because it's a 33mm so even with a polish I wouldnt loose a ton of money.

Haha well I'm comparing a new Nomos vs just a service for a watch I already have though - naturally I would only do the service/polish at AP themselves so that's why the cost is probably comparable 😅

I definetly do understand the credibility that AP has (even though I'm not a huge fan of the royal oak) but I feel like that could also be a disadvantage because some random fan of hiphop could recognize it -> that wont happen with a nomos.

(The auction was in germany and it only had like 3 good watches though so I dont know if that will help 😅)

I'm not selling the AP, lol. It's probably worth around 7-9k though
