One of my new purchases and fresh from a full

service at the work shop. A Cartier Santos

Carrée 2961 from the 1980's apparently made

for the 75th anniversary of the Santos. With a

burgandy dial and a ruby cabochon. Just can't beat it 🤩💎

Great watch, my wife wears my regular Santos Carree these days, my sis in law wears the Santos Carree that my older brother purchased with a few pay checks that he was supposed to be saving for their August wedding, hoped to delay marriage a little longer but his future father in law loaned the couple 20 grand to start life together, haha. Seem to recall the dial was the famous Cartier red or burgundy but the colour is also so evocative of the 80s. Thx for sharing the picture, the 80s were the best times!!
