Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a little story about the latest addition to my watch collection: the Citizen Quartz Brycen 44mm Chronograph Men’s Watch E014-S042135HSW. I stumbled upon this beauty during a cruise celebrating my 22nd wedding anniversary with my lovely wife. As we were wandering around the ship, enjoying the entertainment and company of friends and family, I spotted a boutique showcasing Citizen watches.
Now, I’ve had a Citizen before, an Echo Drive that’s been with me for about two decades. So, naturally, my interest was piqued. Despite not being a huge fan of quartz watches, something about the Brycen caught my eye. After some internal debate (and maybe a little nudge from my adventurous side), I decided to take the plunge and make the purchase.
Of course, my wife wasn’t exactly thrilled that I didn’t wait for her plans to surprise me with a watch for my birthday back home. But hey, sometimes spontaneity wins, right? The Brycen straddles two worlds effortlessly—it’s sporty enough for casual outings yet sleek and sophisticated for more formal occasions.
