Trying out the Uncle Seiko Pelagos jubilee…
Picked up the Uncle Seiko Pelagos39 jubilee. So far (one day in) I like it. I know that some people feel that the stock bracelet can be sharp in some areas but I find it to be one of the most comfortable bracelets I’ve ever had. The stock p39 clasp is visually large, but wearing it I never notice, and am always grateful for the t-fit adjustment.
The U.S. bracelet is well made— end links fit perfect. Adjustment and sizing went well. Clasp seems solid and has 5 adjustment points. It was a touch grabby on my armhair, but not so much that I’m not trying it again today.
My bet is that most of the time I will continue with the stock bracelet, but use the jubilee occasionally when the vintage-spirit hits me. I LOVE this watch, so the ability to move from stock bracelet to jubilee to Erica’s strap (coming in the mail… slowly) is really great. I’m a happy customer for sure.

How is the brushing and shade of the metal on the bracelet in relation to the watch?
so is the stock bracelet is more chamfered than the uncle seiko?
Adding a couple more pictures. For sure, this is nitpicking, like all good watch nerds would do. Both bracelets are excellent, both are comfortable, and both look good with the watch for sure!
The stock bracelet has a slightly softer edge to it. I wonder if the curved versus straight links also has something to do with the way it feels? But both are very comfortable, neither is truly scratching me or grabbing arm hairs… jubilee might be a touch lighter weight.
In terms of the brushing, in my dining room, with a warm lightbulb, I can’t see the difference in brushing or brightness of the bracelet versus the case. Outside, I think the uncle seiko looks a little bit lighter and differently brushed. But I really had to look for the right light to see this difference.

It is also Ti, which is nice. And I agree… for me, the stock bracelet fits the look I want just a bit better, but I’m pleased to have this to mix things up
How do you find the colour or brushing matches the Tudor bracelet? I’m close to buying one but some photos make the Uncle strap looks to be a different shade?
