Good design never gets old

Though this design is 50 years old (perhaps technically less for the 5100 version) it doesn’t feel aged at all. In some ways, it feels more modern than many of today’s watches, given the trends towards vintage cues.

Love it!  Was just bemoaning the fact that Porsche Design never seem to even be a part of the conversation.  Glad to see PD getting some love.

I agree with Omeganut, PD needs more love. My favorite is the 1919 Globetimer UTC in brown.

The one thing that I get hung up on with PD is that I am not sure of what they are. They have everything from sneakers to watches.

I know that they make serious watches, but they give me "fashion watch" vibes just because of all the other stuff they offer. Also, it does not help that Porsche is in the name. If I wasn't a watch geek, I would probably have a different take. Stuttgart Design might have been a better name. Lol!

Either way, no doubt that they make some awesome watches. 👌

Yeah, that actually looks great. I wouldn’t guess that that’s 50 years old at all. A very timeless design for sure.
