Marcel Boucher. French jeweller who moved to New York and set up his own company in 1937. Died in 1965, wife ran company till early 1970s, sold to Davorn Industries… and from the looks of it that’s when you start seeing the watches appear.
Boucher did work for Cartier and Mazer Bros, so it’s kind of ironic to see a Boucher Cartier-tank esque homage with a Cartier style cabochon. Oh well… just me then.

It’s all jewellery related. Dorsons Jewellery Co in New York changed their name to Davorn Industries Ltd in 1961, and in 1970 they bought Marcel Boucher et Cie. It operated as an independent subsidiary with Sandra Boucher (his wife) as president and chief designer. Both companies went into bankruptcy in 1978.
