Omega has so many Speedmaster references out there that some surely get lost and don’t get enough attention.
I got this (326.30.40.50.06.001) a few months back and wanted to quickly share my thoughts.
Released during Baselworld 2012 with quite a few color options. This one is grey dial with yellow accents.
Has a mesmerizing dial which changes color as light reflects off it
Great proportions with a 40mm case
Super precise movement (Caliber 3330), which is basically a heavily modified 7753 with a column wheel, co-axial escapement and silicon balance spring. For me it’s been trending ~ +1spd
Nice clous-de-paris accents on the subdials
The primary hands (hour, min and seconds sub-dial) reflect light really well, so when you are driving, and your hand is on the steering wheel, a quick glance will tell the time. Great legibility even in low light
The yellow chronograph hands give it a sporty racing vibe
Still goes for well below retail on the grey market
You can see how the dial can go from bright silver to dark grey depending on how you hold it.

This model replaced the Speedmaster Reduced, and IMHO the case thickness is its major drawback, almost 2mm thicker than the SM Reduced…
Saw this reference on the wrist of a gentleman in my office building. Absolutely stunning! I didn't even know it existed! But, in my opinion, far more beautiful and rare and character-full than the MoonWatch!

Actually it doesn’t wear very thick. Most of the thickness is on the underside so it doesn’t appear very thick on the wrist
It's definitely a different take on the Speedy design that is not for everyone
