Hidden hands of rattrapante!

I am easy to be mesmerized by second hands and their tick or sweep. Then comes the chronograph hand which is even more exciting and a attention grabber cause you are actually measuring something... But then finally there is a hidden "split second" as well which blows my mind away... The split-seconds chronograph was born from the need to detect and record two events that have the same beginning but which do not stop at the same time. The aim of this function is therefore to be able to calculate two different time fractions having the same origin. Awesome way to measure very important simultaneous events (my nephews racing their toy cars!)...

And even more awesome is that you don't have to spend huge amounts of money to enjoy one... At least these quartz Hamilton ETO was a quality option without breaking the bank! With a turn of the bezel you can mark and calculate appropriate speed, desired arrival time or journey duration. ETO stands for Estimated Time Over. ETO is an important information used to calculate time slot allocation at the airports.

P.S.

Estimated time at which an aircraft would be over a fix, waypoint or particular location typically where air traffic congestion is expected.

ETA is the estimated time over the initial approach fix or overhead the aerodrome.

ELDT is the estimated time of crossing the threshold of the landing runway.

Very cool.

I think some g shocks or Casio edifice models do this with the digital display.
