First Seiko mod!

A little bit of shameless boasting, I'm afraid โ€” yesterday, I built my first-ever Seiko mod, and I think it went rather well! NH38, 36mm Namoki Explorer case, dial from AJuiceT, snowflake hands from Namoki, Milgauss seconds hand from DLW Mods. I'm calling it "Sir Francis Drake" (in honour of the famous Tudor explorer ๐Ÿ˜‰)

I actually tried to build it last week, but I cut the first crown stem too short and snapped the second one off inside the movement, so I had to get a replacement. Weirdly, when I tried again yesterday, the "too short" stem fit perfectly this time! But last week wasn't a total waste of time: then, I spent three hours getting as far as cutting the crown stem to length; yesterday, it only took me an hour and a half to get everything built including resizing the bracelet ๐Ÿ˜

I'm sure this isn't perfect work, but I'm very happy with it. Are there any other Seiko modders around? I've already started thinking about my next build โ€” feel free to share pics of your own work in the comments!
