It died mid workout!

What do you guys do when your “fitness” tracker dies mid workout? Pretty sure the battery is on its last legs. Any recommendations for a silent sleep alarm and workout tracker only?

That happened to me on a hike. I was not happy about it. I got the Casio G-Shock GBD-200 which has step and distance/lap tracking. No sleep tracking though.

I typically just crack my stuff open and change out the battery. I personally use my Sony Wena 3. Designed to be used with traditional watches plus you can disable any features you don't want to use

I wear a watch and track my fitness the old way. I’m sweating!

I have been so tempted by the Wena. How long have you had it?

About 6 months or so now, honestly love it

I use an old Suunto 5, it's battery can last for about 2 weeks and I mainly use it on weekends to track hikes. The battery died only once on a hike since I have it (about 3 years). Even then, it still tracked the time of the hike, but GPS powered off.

I would look into going into your setting and tune down anything that eats up unnecessary battery life. I can get 2 days out of my Apple Watch after changing the settings. If the battery cell is just aged then maybe you can take it to Apple and have them swap out for a new battery?
