Hi guys, It's time to have my first watch serviced. I bought my Conquest second-hand about a year ago. According to the papers it is from 2015 and there are no service receipts. So I contacted Longines and registered my watch for service. Do you have any experience of how long a watch lasts for a complete overhaul at the manufacturer?
Thank you in advance :-)

My 2014 Seamaster 300 heritage went in for a service and crown repair last year (broke the crown off completely 😱)
It has to go back to Switzerland and cost £485 & 3 months.
Absolutely worth every penny - came back running spot on (& still is) and refinished like a brand new watch.
The wait will be the most painful bit, but definitely worth it 👍🏻👍🏻
There are some folks here who have watches go decades, others 2 years. Longines makes great watches and their movement is solid, so you may not notice any drop off for a while. My approach is to service it when I notice the timing is off, until then, wear with pride.
If you are going to service this because of rotor noise don't, save your money as I had one from new and they are noisy rotor wise and it's not a defect just part of the particular watch experience with this watch
Thank you for your adivce. I send that watch in because the crown gets stuck from time to time and the entire case + strap is scratched. The glass also appears to be "blind". It seems as if it has tarnished. So i'm really looking forward to get the Service done 🤗
