Massive destruction of counterfeit watches

Didn't one of the top Swiss brands do this recently with their own overstock to increase rarety?

Good to see fakes being destroyed tho 👏🏻

I see Wenger being the only watchmaker that is a member of this Stop Piracy association. I'd like to be proven wrong, but I have this feeling that the big names truly don't care or sort of like the free advertising.

Victorinox is a member. But like you say they love the free advertising. Also, the rich famous people will pay and buy the genuine luxury watches from authorised dealers. The poor man will buy fakes from the grey market. The only difference is money. The fake ones cost $20. You cannot put a price on the genuine luxury watches.

A genuine $20 watch like casio Or other affordable brands is in my opinion way better than a fake rolex Or other lux brands
