Is this Hamilton Khaki Field Pioneer real or fake?
A dealer is offering a reasonable price for a Hamilton khaki pioneer automatic watch. Does this movement and the case look original? Can anyone help?

The movement appears to be consistent with the case back, and the dial, crown and case are all consistent, but the date is not centered in the date window which seems odd to me.
It’s an older model at the very least. Hamilton ditched the 2824-2 for the H-10, an in-house branded version of the Powermatic 80, a few years ago now.
Upon further review, my conclusion is:
The off center date is my biggest clue.
