Alien lovers take note - it is a cool watch.

As an avid fan of movie watches I had taken a shine to this digi wonder some time ago - I own every version of Alien on Blu Ray and my history with this amazing movie goes back to when my best friend’s older brother got us into the screening of it back in the 70’s.

There has never been a movie since that has captured the horror of the unseen and begged for a re-watching at least twice a year. If you’ve never seen it, do it. You will soil your shorts.

The time had come to pick up this iconic reissue, the Casio A100WE, that Sigourney Weaver wore as Lt. Ripley (the T-100) albeit a super-modified, fused version that the props dept. had some fun with. It is the only watch I own that my wife and daughter both commented on the first time I wore it. It is certainly a fun one to wear. It was the first fully resin case back in the day but now treated with chrome plating (there is also a gunmetal and a gold version). The stock bracelet is a hair-pincher so I was able to wrestle, with some effort, this vintage rubber strap on the 18mm lug width, and I think it looks fantastic. The mode button beeps, the backlight works, and it is just a darn fun piece to wear.
