What do you guys take during a short trip? And why? Let’s discuss

Currently, I am going for a short business trip to the next-door city for the next 2 days and these are my watch ammo:

1. Hamilton Khaki Field Auto + Milanese bracelet, which I used mainly during working and meeting session. It’s kind of be my “dressier watch” due to its slim profile and polished sides. I currently don’t have any dress watch as I don’t see it fit my lifestyle. So I’m more than happy owning Hamilton Khaki filling that role.

2. Orient Kamasu on Barton Silicone Strap, which I used primarily after working hours and hanging out for dinner. The reason is its toughness (20atm WR) and I do like the dial color a lot, plus wearing it I have something to play with as a fidget spinner 🙂. Pairing it with a comfy rubber strap, and boom, I’m ready to go anywhere just hanging around the hotel or looking for dinner.

3. Watch Travel Case. This one is brought to store spare watch and leather straps. Speaking of leather straps, I always spare a room in my watch case for these, that’s why I brought 1+1 watch. One on wrist and the other is stored in the case. In the other watch slot, I used it to store 2 pair of more formal straps just in case is required to dress up a bit for an occasion (I brought two, 20mm brown for the Hammy & 22mm black for the Kamasu).

The question for you, for such short business or leisure trip (3-4 days), how many watches that you take with you, and what will be the combination? Curious to see how people arrange their own here 🙌🏼

Thanks for coming to my first thread!

I appreciate your approach. To me, if it is a short trip, it is likely business, or I am trying to squeeze a lot in. I wear a single watch, and I may bring a smart watch for workouts. In which case, the smart watch gets thrown in the backpack with all my other travel gear. I have all kinds of pouches, rolls, etc, but tend to leave them at home more than not.

If you are wearing 40mm and below the Contacts Family case should hold 3 pieces safely!
