More than a vibe: two mornings ago, in a canyon in the mountains, I actually felt one of the first breezes of autumn! But I'm with you. It is still fully August here, with a heat snap underway, and the appearance on store shelves of pumpkin spice this and Halloween that is absurdly premature.
