Beater watch is showing its age
I call it my beater watch, but I really haven't been beating it. I absolutely love wearing this watch, but it's starting to show its age. The battery is less than a year old but the time keeping is just now beginning to be unreliable. Stopping at times.
The story behind this watch - in the early 90's I treated myself to private pilot license. During training, my flight instructor happened to mention in passing that pilots traditionally wear an analog watch with a Big face. 😮 Say no more! That night I went out and picked up this watch. I chose an ani-digi because I wanted to set the digital window to GMT.
Getting back. Is there such a thing as maintenance on a quartz Casio? I wouldn't mind having a new (acrylic) crystal as well.
