New Trilobe Nuit Fantastique collaboration with (name redacted)

This is cool: Trilobe has dropped a limited edition of their Nuit Fantastique model. Three rotating discs, two different hand-carved guilloche patterns, 38.5 mm case made from titanium. One of the more interesting brands, I think, and I love this reference.

I won't mention the name of the collaborator, in the hopes that people will react honestly to the watch rather than the other brand.

Is it hand-crafted guilloche dial? If it is then 13k usd is not bad at all.

Yes, hand-crafted. One pattern on the main dial, different one on the seconds subdial.

Ha! Yes, all three discs are constantly moving. The time above is approx 6:05. Here's a better view of it in motion:

Amazing!

Interesting to see what it the power reserve of the watch. It takes a lot of energy to rotate all those disks that are way heavier than hands.

Good point! Here's what it says:

"Powering this watch is a remarkable self-winding mechanical movement with a micro-rotor, called the X-Centric Calibre. The X-Centric Calibre is designed and created by Trilobe and manufactured by hand in Switzerland's storied La Chaux-de-Fonds by Le Cercle des Horlogers. With a 48-hour power reserve and an operating frequency of 28.800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), the X-Centric Calibre represents a marvel of engineering composed of 33 functional rubies and a total of 215 components. Turning the watch over will reward you with a view of the movement that features micro-blasted bridges and plates, which are frosted to achieve a fine-grain effect in the brass and then electroplated for a striking black-gold surface."

So, 48 hrs. Not great, but not terrible.

48hrs is pretty good. This is next-level engineering imho
