My latest watch to my collection is this very handsome and rugged looking field watch. I've been on the look out for a field watch for about 3 month now and to be honest didn't not know where to start. I have always loved the style and heritage behind these style watches and some day will hopefully own a Hamilton, I just do not uabe the budget for that now. Now I know soke of you fellow crunchers may suggest the timex expedition and I have thought about this, although tje ones I habe come across are either a resin case or brass which is a turn off for me. With this in mind I thought there has to be something out there within the timex price range with better materials and maybe even similar looking. Agyer digging around and doing some research I have come across this handsome fella, the model name is the "MDC Infantry Military Watch". And for the price coming in just under £30 you get a lot of bang for your buck. It's bosts a full stainless steel case with mineral glass, a good quality 22mm nato strap and has a case size of 40mm. And thickness/height of 11mm. It runs off a Japanese quartz movement and is 50M water resistant. The MDV also has a painted dial with lume although from watch reviews and videos I have seen on this don't rave about how good this is but hey its a £30 watch. It's also a nice touch that it includes a day date complication to. Anyways if you are looking for something similar and are in the same frame of mind as myself I recommend this, it can be picked up from amazon.
