So in mid August September I lost my entire watch collection mainly of casios, Timex, titan, hmt... It got lost during shifting process and I was only left with my great grand pa's Henry sandoz and fils which I wore straight for a month

Until I couldn't satisfy myself with just one watch so I saved up some cash and went on a crazy shopping spree or buying watches but the catch to this was I wanted to create the "PERFECT WATCH COLLECTION" have a proper diver watch, have a chrono, have something vintage, something to beat around, you get the point....

So this was my purchase list since August this year....

Here we are gonna experience buyer's remorse as well as the myth of "PERFECT WATCH COLLECTION"

Another thing to remember I am still a college student so most of the watches here are on the affordable side mainly less than $150...

It all started from this Casio oak in yellow, i love colourful watches and got this for a steal but I just couldn't bond with it something felt off, so had to return it...

After returning the Casio oak and hearing some great things about dw5600 got the classic varient but I hated the look on me so had to return this too....

By now you already know I have a thing for colorful watches so got this yellow fossil watch but as a fashion watch the price wasn't making justice behind this purchase to it had to go....

Image

With the mentality of ONE WATCH COLLECTION I bought the vintage version of Casio watch as they are timeless and looks classy but for my 8 inch wrist it was just too small, gave it to my sister who loves it...

We all know the hype behind Tiffany blue dials and I was one of the victims of the hype, bought the Casio and hmt Kohinoor blue dial watches but later figured this colour is just not for me with me selling both the watches...

Image

The almost perfect diver, which I loved but my father loved it more so I gifted this to him...

Image

The craze to finally get an automatic watch lead me to buy this hmt automatic watch which really didn't justify its price and you can say I didn't learn my lesson of Tiffany dials not being my thing but in the end I sold this watch for a profit...

Image

Again the thing for a gshock was still alive in me as it was my dream childhood watch but never got the chance to own one, but again wrong colours wrong style at wrong age atleast that's what I thought led to me returning this watch too...

Image

Almost perfect watch with solar and Bluetooth at a great price but the colour was a huge letdown for me this dull military green was just not making its cut for me, so again return...

Image

My most recent purchase as I wanted to own a chronograph watch and saw this on sale and immediately purchased it just later to find out it was flimsy and not really well made, so returned it just today morning...

Image

By now you have got the gist of how crazy I was or behaving at the time I should have just taken a break but the constant consumption of watch content on YouTube, watch crunch and constantly to have that feeling of something new and getting attached to it didn't let me stop until....

I found her

This Casio was almost perfect for me with green sunburst dial date window at 3, mineral glass and a rugged look finally a watch which I bonded with instantly and yes this is not going anywhere...

Image

Another one with whome I clicked was this fossil dayliner watch and omg it's a beautiful watch instead of it being a fossil watch I went ahead and bought it and yes this is going to stay on my wrist for a long time...

Recently in October I turned 20 and wanted to buy my first automatic watch so a friend of mine was going to come to INDIA from US in DECEMBER, I asked him to buy an Invicta pro diver for me in blue during the black Friday sale I got it for $45 which is arriving by 29th dec really very excited for it...

This year was hard for me personally as well as watch related which made me think, reflect and learn a lot, watches are meant to be your companion with every achievement or downfall it could be a personal memory so I have finally decided to stop and enjoy the limited watches I have, and whenever I have the craving to buy a watch I'll put the money aside and save it for something special maybe in the coming years....

Hope you guys have an amazing new year and 2024 is filled with nothing but loads and loads of love....

Merry Christmas and a happy new year 🎊

This is the only time I have seen a Henri Santos Flis other than mine!
