My grandfather’s watch

This is a photo of my grandfather’s watch that I inherited. Trouble is I’m really not sure what exactly it is, other than being a Longines. Do any of you Watchcrunches know the model or around what year it’d be? Many thanks!

Hi there, so it looks like what you gave there is the L10476. Didn't find much info, but seems to be a gold plated watch that is not in production anymore. If looking for the 242 7207 on Google, you'll find some pics of that watch in Instagram and one one catawiki closes auction.

I don’t know the model and type but what matters more is that it’s been past down to you something that money can’t buy. Sentimental time piece.
