The rarely seen Seiko SKXA33

All stainless steel, gorgeous inky black dial, and the weight of a brick! I bought this Seiko SKXA33 in 2002 to celebrate getting a new job. These particular watches were produced between 2002 and 2005. It rarely gets any wrist time now, but for almost a decade up till 2012 it was my daily office beater and all-round everywhere watch. It’s still one of my favorites. The look just screams with late 90s and early 2000s design aesthetics. It has a beautiful face and dial layout, the indices are on point, a hefty integrated bracelet with wetsuit extension, and the lume is so brilliant it could light up a small house. I have received a ton of compliments and interest when I wear this piece. Because of its short production run and the fact that it was eclipsed by SKX Monsters and Knights, this watch is unique to anyone who happens to have it in their collection. Looks great, keeps fabulous time, and I really should wear it more often.

I do wonder if those 90s/00s bezels and lugs will ever be back in fashion. But yes an interesting watch.
