Mozsly watch winder review

For a long time I have considered getting a watch winder. Due to my occupation I don’t wear a watch every day and it would be nice to have one ready to go whenever without having to set the time and date each time. But I never found one I liked.

Then I got into contact with Mozsly. They asked if I wanted to review one of their winders and I figured why not. I picked my winder of choice, they sent it and it quickly arrived.

Being a bit intimidated by the size of the box I was was happy to find a fairly compact winder inside. My version has wood imitation on the outside, lacquered, and as many if they’re models a metal front. One thing that’s unusual is the screw on lid, almost like a mason jar. At first I thought it would be annoying but it actually has a secure feel about it that I enjoy. Their models vary in material from colorful leather, to the wood imitation to polyester. They have winders for single watches as well as multiple.

The winders have several settings for different time intervals and rotation schemes that you can set to your movements preferences and a neat thing is that it comes with a small cable for you to connect multiple winders. And that’s good because one of the few moans I have is the power cable that’s pretty short for some reason.

Another nice touch is what they call a telescopic watch pillow. Winders I’ve tried in the past has always been a pain when it comes to getting a good fit for my bracelet watches. I’ve had to put small pieces of cardboard between watch and pillow 😅 The telescopic pillow seems to fit any size watch and it’s a tight fit in the winder itself, making the watch sit securely in place.

One of the things that seems to put people off with winders is the noise they make. So I but it to the test and had it bedside for a week. And let me tell you, this thing is quiet!

To summarize. The Mozsly winder is compact and feels well made. It’s quiet and the watch is nicely secured. The question remains, do you really need one? And honestly, you will do fine without a winder. But if you’re like me and most of your watches are automatic then it’s quite convenient.

The Mozsly winder impressed me so much that I decided to become an affiliate and the code mad10 will give you a 10% discount on any of their winders found in the link below 😊
