Wind Up Watch Fair

Has anyone gone to a Wind Up Watch Fair event? If so, was it worth the trip and how was the experience? I’d like to go to the one coming up in Chicago, but would like to hear from others who have already gone. Thanks for any info!

Haven't been but it's on my bucket list

I went to the one in New York last year. It was one of my first big watch events. It was great, lots of brands, lots of people. The New York fair coincided with Watch Time New York, so you can go uptown to try on a Lange and a Gruebel, and downtown to see a G-Shock and the latest from the microbrands. Very different vibe uptown and down; few suits downtown. Windup was more my speed.

Thanks for your response! Sounds like I’ll be going to the one in Chicago.

Was there for the last 30 minutes. Fun group. All the pieces are there to examine. 10% off everywhere.l

eBay had some amazing vintage pieces...but not for sale :(

Although I could not get over how small so many dials were for the micro brands. Everything was a 36,37.
