I often wonder why Certina get ignored in the mid-range watch space? The likes of Longines, Tissot, Seiko and Hamilton all get love, but not Certina. Here is a wrist shot of my lovely Certina DS Action Powermatic 80 diver on a 'Bond' NATO from Esprit NATO.

For a little over £800 you get an anti-reflective sapphire, a reliable Swiss movement, a titanium case and a ceramic bezel.

I think that the answer is that Certina is not sold in the United States (it really never has been). The U.S. dominates watch discussion sometimes due to its size.

You're probably right. The US is missing out though. The trusty Powermatic 80 movement, anti-reflective sapphire, titanium body and ceramic bezel for a little over £800.
