Hands broken on aq230!

This is my casio ana digi AQ230 and the hands sadly dont move. I purchased it about a year ago now so I don't think it's the battery, it's also not the ac reset thing. I have tried that already if any of you guys have any ideas or tips on what to do please tell me. I love this watch and would hate for it to be permanently broken. Any clue on what to do just comment please

It could be that it's just broken. It should still be under warranty so just return it and get a new one.

Might take more power to operate the hands than the display and it couol be the sign of a dying battery. There is no guarantee that a quartz watch will arrive with a fresh battery. Try a new battery

I was just considering buying a use one and replacing the whole movement. What I'm probably gonna do is try a new battery, if It doesn't work i will most likely send it back to casio and get a refund. Thank for the advice guys!

Yes first check is take out battery (check terminals clean) put in new battery. Reasonable chance of fixing, Casio usually fairly solid. Get someone to do it if you are not sure. Yeah nice watches.

Yup, first step of quartz troubleshooting is check it's not the battery. The hands stopping might be the signal TO check the battery.

Yeah I'm not gonna bother replacing the movement I will simply just clearly the battery terminals if I have no luck just change it. And after all that just return it. Thanks for all the help everyone. Will keep you all updated when I get round to it!
