Straight vs curved straps

I recently purchased a watch where the OEM strap is curved and am looking to experiment with different straps however, a vast majority of straps are straight. I am a bit inexperienced with 3rd party straps and my question is if I purchase a straight strap, will it fit onto a curved spring bar that came with my watch? I'm not sure if straight bars will fit on my watch because it hasn't arrived yet. Any advice or knowledge passed on would be greatly appreciated.
