Would you recommend the Lorier Hyperion GMT as a good entry level GMT?

If you are able to buy one - yes

If one's funds are limited, the alternatives are either Seiko or Seiko-powered brands, or quartz watches. The lowest bar for entry into GMT are digitals and ana-digi watches.

For its level, though, Lorier has a handful of equals. I don't know of any superiors.
