I'm about to fly and keeping with the Alpina theme today, I'm wearing a Startimer Pilot Heritage GMT.

The movement on this watch is SW-200 based with an Alpina developed GMT module that allows for local time setting. The GMT hand is a wheel at the center of the dial as opposed to a hand.

Given its base it's a bit quirky in practice. The date wheel responds to the GMT wheel in the center and not the local time. This makes it so much easier to set than the Miyota 9075 is IMO 😂
