Living the luxe life with my Tissot Ballade!

I bought this watch for two reasons: COSC for cheaper, and its unique mix of dial/bezel treatments. The former was a bit of a dud - it's never run notably accurately - but the latter aspect has proved delightful over time. Here I'm enjoying the interplay with my sashiko-textured lounging-around pants.

its certainly an interesting Tissot

This is one of the few Tissot that I really like. The only downside for me is that the men’s version is 40 mm, which is not in a “love it” price-size ratio for me.

Such an interesting movement. This one basically has a full suit of the time+date Eta C07s. This one has the top, chronometer grade Eta C07.811, which, for those who don’t know, means that it has it uses conventional escapement materials and has a silicon balance spring.

Interesting. I haven't followed the controversy closely, but are you saying it's considered better because it doesn't use plastic like the Powermatics in models like the PRX?

No. It’s better because it’s the highest grade of its caliber and it has the highest amount of anti-magnetism.
