Yeah unfortunately the strap I have on it is either a little too tight or a little too loose. I prefer a little too tight as it isnt tight enough cut off my circulation or restrict my range of motion. Floppy watch annoys me way too much to tolerate for long lol

You are not wrong, that looks a bit odd, especially as those pushers point directly into your arm, so you can get some accidental engagement.

Actually, as a right-hander I sometimes wear a watch on my right arm: when adjusting the band for the left arm is a pain, but it fits the right arm as is. That especially applies to vintage watches on elastic bands - which are often too loose for my left but fit my right. Yes, I know, adjusting elastic bands is possible - I have seen the youtube videos. Problem: I have seen the youtube videos.
