Louis Vuitton’s New Tambour
My SA invited me to take a look at the new Louis Vuitton Tambour today.
In my opinion, it’s not impressive on the wrist.
The blue face looks cool.
But it doesn’t look like a 40mm case on the wrist at all.
Cool things are the white gold hour indicators. And the slits in between the links are all white gold on the steel models.
The only thing I can’t wrap my head around is the 20k starting price.
The rose gold with chocolate dial. Very popular colour combination.
50 hours of power reserve. I honestly don’t know much else about the movement. The minute I put it in my wrist, I did not love it so I lost interest knowing more about the movement. 😅
Top row: both stainless steel left silver dial right blue dial.
Bottom row: rose gold chocolate dial, 2 tone white dial, yellow gold white dial.
Got to say the attention to detail on the bezel is very cool.
What do you guys think of the new tambour?
