For Seiko Saturday. The reason I prefer straps to bracelets, let alone integrated bracelets, is the ease of radically altering a watch's appearance with a strap replacement. In this case the suede "gingerbread" strap has been replaced with a Hirsch dark brown top grain leather strap that transforms the SRPG17 "Tortoise" from a sport watch to a dressier while still sporty "GADA" model.

This is such an underrated piece. Sizing is perfect. ✌🏽

Have to agree. I purchased the "Tortoise" (sometimes mistakenly labelled the "land turtle") mainly based on price and the fact that I didn't own a Seiko at the time. In fact, its simple, elegant looks and remarkable accuracy (< 2s error a day) have made it one of my favorites. I'm not sure which strap I prefer.. The Hirsch dark brown strap is from my Tissot Heritage 1938 chronometer and while it looks great (imo) on the Seiko, it pairs perfectly with the "1938" vintage vibe. I'll give it a couple of weeks to decide.

These straps complete the watch so well!

Nice straps but more and more third party bracelets come with quick release now too. Like the tortoise a lot but could not live with the terrible reflective nature of the dial on my green one.

For comparison, here are the suede gingerbread strap (Barton) on the Tissot Heritage 1938 COSC Chronometer and with the Hirsch strap that's now on the Seiko.
