The Citizen AQ4080-52L

Every collector needs a quartz gada watch, right? Well, here's mine. It's from Citizen's "The Citizen" collection. I was trying to decide between this and a Grand Seiko. And I went with this! I love the accuracy, the eco-drive movement, the sunburst blue dial, and the compact dimensions (37mm in diameter and just 44mm lug to lug). Plus, I got a great deal on it!

Citizen has some absolutely stunning higher end models! I will make a shopping trip to Japan one day!

That’s beautiful! I’m waffling between this and an SBGX261 but am hard leaning towards the citizen. Can I ask how the bracelet/clasp is? That is definitely a weakness of GS but I don’t ever hear much about The Citizen. Cheers!!!

Yeah, a Grand Seiko would be a great choice as well for a high-end quartz watch. But I went with the Citizen because there were just a few details I liked better, such as the incredibly accurate Eco-drive movement, the deep blue sunburst dial, and the cool citizen eagle emblem. I find the bracelet to be very well-finished and comfortable. The clasp doesn't have any micro-adjust, but I was able to get a good fit with the half links. And the bracelet is treated with their Duratect surface-hardening!

Thanks for the insight!
