My Citizen's (NB1060 and AQ1020)

My foray into citizen began mid last year with the Black Chronomaster here that i got off buyee (a third party site that allows a user to bid on yahoo japan auctions) for a really good price. i was blown away by the craftsmanship in this piece despite it being 10 years old with signs of wear and tear. The capacitor was not taking a charge, however, and it ended up in the service center for around 4 months and it's great to finally have it back! Size is perfect at 37, fit and finish is incredible, and the titanium makes it extremely comfortable to wear. It also seems to be keeping its +- 10 spy accuracy. IMO, it is finished better (and the movement is more accurate) than my GS SBGF017 (this is a model that is around 20 years old at this point doe).

The NB1060, on the other hand, is the piece i brought home with me from my trip to japan. Again, I found myself getting a handmade dial and finishing on this level for a great price. People complain about the unidirectional rotor of the 9 series, but it's no problem at all for me; plus the movement has been around +5spd and allows the watch to wear extremely well. I was able to get the NB1050 bracelet off buyee, wc fits perfectly with this watch.

I think my preferred style of watch is very much evident with these 2 pieces. I feel that citizen (esp their non ecodrive watches) are not talked about much, so here's to adding them a bit more into the conversation.

NB1060 is beautiful. One of the watches I'd love to own one day (or even just see in person).

If the dial looks cool, I'm all about it, and that's definitely one of the heavy-hitter dials. Awesome pieces. You really got some of the best Citizens available, imo. Congrats!
