Lost watch resurfaces after 20 odd years

Was having a bit of a clear out this morning and found this

It was originally purchased in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia back in the early 2000's. I only ever wore it a few times. Since then Ive lived in 4 differant countries and moved house about 15 times

I thought it had long been lost, so was a pleasant suprise, and something to keep in the collection

That's a great feeling when you find something you thought long lost!

Tag Heuer kirium chrono, is it?

And now hopefully the battery hasn't leaked and it will spring to life with a new one.

Best of luck!

Congratulations on finding that little treasure. I’ve still got my TAG Kirium. 😍

That is a screw down caseback I presume. Especially on something that has sat for so long they can really be stuck on good. Proper tools prevent accidents and scratches, maybe take it to a professional and have them check the waterproofness as well?

I think thats the sensible option, I dont want to break/damage it after all this time
