What makes it different? Do you feel the difference in weight and the nicers materials or is it more the knowledge about it beeing made in Japan and the improved sprecs? I am really on the fence to buy one but the boring lack of any color makes me hesitate a bit tbh.

The weight does make a different and the resin strap quality is more comfortable compared to the normal one.
You will feel the watch presence on your wrist with screwback case gshock.
"Made in Japan" is just a bonus.
