My business counterparts gave me this watch when they learned that I was in to watches. It’s a quartz watch with a wooden case with a batik design dial. “Pala” is a start-up in Bandung City. It has been promoted by the Indonesian Government and was employed in arranging souvenir watches for attendees of a recent tourism event in Bali. Thanks to my Indonesian friends.

Maybe my friend is not a Indonesian watch connoisseur, but I appreciate his gesture more than the gift itself. I’ll leave it there.😔
