One of the few features the (ahem) dated Vostok movements can boast about. In practice for most people it makes no difference. For what it's worth, my Komandirskie changes over at 5 minutes past midnight.
While we are looking at the date wheel, I wish a font could have been chosen that uses a bit more black paint to make it a bit more legible.
Iam a digital quartz guy so it doesn't matter if it changes instant or not. But many people see stuff like instant date change and perpetual calendar as high end feature. This post is more of a joke to those people 🤣
