How do i use this??
i bought this and tested demagnetizing a screwdriver. the screwdriver is still magnetized.
when i press the red button this thing seem to become a magnet itself and it pulls the screwdriver towards it if placed too close. is this thing broken?
i'm afraid to use it now

I'm pretty sure you just put watch on surface and slowly lift if straight up and away over like thirty seconds or so?

It's the "pulling" motion that is needed. It's like dragging away the magnetism. (you can tell I'm not an engineer/scientist).
They do work though, managed to demagnetise my automatics (and strap buckles as well).
There are helpful tutorials on YouTube which I used.
Just be aware that the build quality on these is not high. The power cable become exposed after a week. Thankfully amazon refunded me with no fuss after highlighting the problem.
