I have never heard of the Thailand made Casio watches! But my two cents is that not many changes would be found. If anything, the "Made in China" thing is just that they outsourced the watch production to be based in China, so I don't think it would be different to the Thai pieces. Maybe it depends to where you are from? Sometimes making it in Thailand is cheaper to some regions of the world.
If true, then I would ask if there is any quality difference to the "Made in Japan" models to the "Made in China" ones...
Believe it or not, F-91W watches are one of the most counterfeited watches under $100 USD. While this probably isn’t the case here, there are many slight variances in F-91W models that can make it difficult to tell. A genuine one will display “CASIO” when the button the the right is pressed for 3 seconds. Otherwise, probably just shifting resources for production to keep the cost consistent. Even the fakes are pretty much the real deal though, they are starting to get indistinguishable, especially in terms of function. I like the blue color, I don’t see enough blue ones out in the wild.
Casios has manufacturing facilities in Japan, China and Thailand. Depending on which product you’re buying and in which country, you can get a ’Made in China’ watch. Quality are the same.

Blows my mind that there is a market for counterfeiting the F-91W!!! #godtier
Two great ways to verify (under most circumstances) that your substantially-income challenging F-91W purchase is not a cheap clone is that it will display ‘CASIo‘ after depressing the right bottom pusher for about three seconds…and also that there is a little printed ‘U’ on the bottom right corner of the illustrious time piece:

I know right! I didn’t believe it when I first read about it, but amazingly there is money to be made that way I guess 😂
