I agree… Although „small“ is very relative to your wrist and the style of watch. I don‘t think I‘d wear a 34mm diver or a 42mm dress watch for example

That's it exactly. Size is often more important relative to the watches function / purpose - assuming that your wrist size isn't too far from what can be called normal.
