Clash of the hobbies

Yesterday the wife and I attended the Longines Global Champions Tour in Mexico City.

It only takes 3.5 hours to get there by car from where I live, the tournament was great and since she is into horses, it was one of those rare opportunities to bring our hobbies together and enjoy them at one same place, at the same time.

Understanding that It was going to be packed, I decided to bring my Casio Edifice EFV-100D-7AV, it is quartz, it is handsome, and I don't have to worry about it.

The event's highlight was when I tried a new Longines Conquest with the green dial at their stand. I couldn't take pictures of the watch but let me tell you all, I found a new love, it's already on my list. LOL.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Crunchers.

Stunning Casio 😍

I have two EFV 100's and need the white dial to complete my collection. It is a great watch. 3.5 hours ! That would be a major trip in the UK !

I find that very interesting. It amazes me how different things are depending on where we live. The only time that I've ever been to Europe, I remember going across 3 or 4 countries by bus in 8 or 10 hours. 10 hours driving will only get you from where I live to the border line with the US in Texas. 😅

An hours drive in the UK would be considered long ! 😂 With a few of my international friends an hour would be a short trip to the shops.
