I have seen Youtube videos where it mentions some kind of solvent you can buy to soak your watch in to remove a bezel insert. It was real cheap.
I had a bottle of GOO GONE and decided to try that. I let it soad overnight and the bezel insert came right out the next morning. This is a very cheap solution.

Yes, I have used grip solvent before with similar results. Really any solvent designed to remove common adhesives is likely to work.
I nick the Mrs nailvarnish remover. Soak for 5 mins max coz dunno if it's going to attack the seals.
I wasn't worried about the seals...it was a cheap watch that I am replacing. But the insert I can re-use.
