I almost sacrificed a wife for this one…

I searched and searched for this, in mint condition, looking far harder than I did for a wife. Then I found it. Now, wife no 3 was believing a replacing ring was needed(she mislaid the original..) I didn’t. So “we” got this instead… have any of you had to choose between practicality and a watch?
