Well, I think of the bb lines in general as somewhat controversial. I myself did dismiss them for a long long time (too fat, just a rolex homage etc.) and then last year I was lucky to get hands on with the blue 58. and my mind was changed.
no date, mere perfect proportions, sits nice on my wrist, the movement is great, the blue and steel are just killer.. ended up changing my mind 180. Although it remains a fairly “common” watch. But who cares as long as I’m happy with it - just as you suggested 👍
