Ok. I haven’t read the entire book but enough to say that it’s a enjoyable read. Personal experiences by the author illuminate the history of recording time. So worth the time if you have it.
I read this a couple months back and it’s great. There’s real history in this one and it’s written by an actual watchmaker, not another collector or PR guy or magazine writer. How humans have tracked and understood time over millennia is such an understated part of our civilization.

Well said. I agree with the analysis.
It's available on Audible. Just added it to my wish list.
Cool. Good listening
I finished a couple of days ago, great book, much better than "A man and his watch" that was discussed here last week.
Thanks for the review. It wanted to buy it and read it so I may definitely give it a try
Purchased... In the cue for reading... 🙌🏼
