I knew to go after the Orient Mako 3 when I knew the relationship with my favorite Orient, the Blue Kamasu. A Kamasu with a 6, 9, 12 + Date? I was all in... But then I wasn't, it sat in the box for a while, the bracelet was "ok" and I just didn't have a good Nylon Strap to give to it. Day before a week long trip, I place it on premium black rubber... BAM! Brought 4 watches for rotation on the trip... This is the one I've worn 90% of the time.
